Children for HOPE - A Children's Portrait Event
"Children for HOPE" was born from the strong desire of two friends to use their talents for the glory of God. In 2007, during a long drive home from a photographer's workshop in Houma, Louisiana, that desire sprouted wings and took flight.
In its infancy, "Children for HOPE" was known as "The Babes and Boys of Summer." The event has evolved and grown through the years, but one thing has remained the same. From the beginning it was evident that God wanted us to help the HOPE Women's Resource Center. That is still evident today. The purpose of "Children for HOPE" has always been and will always be raising funds for the HOPE Women's Resource Center.
2011 has been a year of change beginning with a new name and a new way to vote. I am excited about the changes, especially the online voting which will allow us to raise more funds for the center. My hope and my passion is to keep growing and evolving "Children for HOPE" and to take it as far as God will allow. I can't wait to see where He will take us next year!
